This was a very SLOW week in Disney News, especially pin news, hence (Pin) in the title... So this week we are going to talk about two anticipated Disney Animated Features...

--The first is the The Princess and the Frog coming out December 11th. The first part is about a collection of trading cards that will be released to with the movie, they are "Tarot" Cards that give information about characters and the story.Another piece of Frog news is that Disney released a picture of Anika Noni Rose (voice of Tiana, left) and the new Princess Tiana character that will be at Walt Disney WOrld and Disneyland Resort starting this fall... Also she will be staring in a Mardi Gras-style musical cavalcade called Tiana’s Showboat Jubilee for the 2009 holiday season, according to theme park officials. Which will take place in New Orleans Square and Mark Twain (for Disneyland), and Frontierland and Lilly Belle (for Magic Kingdom). As the “second-line” procession reaches the Rivers of America dock, a group of pre-selected theme park visitors will board the waiting riverboat where Princess Tiana and other “The Princess and the Frog” characters will greet them (reports say the other characters will be Prince Naveen, Louis, and Dr. Facilier). After departing, the riverboat will stop along the riverfront for a performance including songs from the film. The show will be repeated several times a day, with viewing areas along the waterfront. --In other Disney Animation News, Walt Disney Animation Studios released these new shots of Rapunzel, opening in 2010
Our final piece of news that im sure you have seen is that Ticket Prices went up on August 2nd, where a one-day one park ticket is $79, and also they released teh 2010 Package Prices and such, where the Disney Dining Plan will have a tiered and moving scale price for the different seasons of the year.
